Your Life Depends On It.
“…He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” He whose ear listens to the life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you…”
Luke 11:28 (NIV), Proverbs 15:31 (NASB), Hebrews 13:17 (KJV)

To fulfill State requirements, at least on parent is required to attend in representation of your family. That said, we highly recommend that both parents attend the conference.
All Senior (12th grade) students are required to be present in order to attend the mandatory Senior Class Meeting. We suggest that Junior (11th grade) students also attend, to familiarize themselves with the experience.
If you choose to watch the sessions online at a later date rather than livestream them, you must pay a $30 excused absence fee.
There is a $55 unexcused absence fee if we do not hear from you prior to the conference.
Child care is not provided during the conference.
In the event of a snow-cancellation on the 21st, the conference will be held on January 28th instead.
Our mandatory Midyear Teacher's Conference is designed to stimulate, encourage, and instruct parents in biblical homeschool philosophy and practice.
It also includes the mandatory graduation meeting for seniors.
This conference meets the state requirement for annual homeschool conferences, and is therefore required for all WCFS families. Families may attend in person or via livestream.
