WCFS 2020 Family Leadership Conference:
"What is the Christian Pilgrim's Patriotic Duty?"
August 14-16, Roxbury Holiness Camp, PA
Roxbury Holiness Camp in Orrstown, PA will be hosting us again from August 14-16 for our annual Family Leadership Conference. We have been closely monitoring the regional and local COVID-19 requirements and are excited that we will still be able to have a full conference. This year will be extra-special as we will be including the Expo, Field Day, and Old-Fashioned Picnic as part of this year’s events.
Please review the information about the Family Leadership Conference carefully as your response is required for a number of items. Registration for the conference is DUE July 15, Expo Forms are due July 31, and your RSVP for the Old-Fashioned Picnic is needed by July 31.
If you are unable to attend the conference in person, you must either register to livestream the conference (no extra charge) or request an excused absence ($30 fee). Otherwise, you will be charged an unexcused absence fee ($55).
We are working closely with Roxbury to have a Conference and camping experience as “normal” as possible. We anticipate that there will be certain health and safety protocols we will need to follow during the conference and we will be keeping registered families apprised of those protocols as they become more defined.
We look forward to seeing you at Camp in August!
This September marks the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims' voyage from England to America, from Old World to New, from Plymouth to Plimouth Plantation, from religious persecution to religious liberty. The commemoration of their incredible story is appropriate for the times in which we find ourselves four centuries later. Our theme this year will focus on what it means to be a citizen of Heaven while living in the "times of the Gentiles" here on earth. We are excited to present a hope-filled perspective from God's Word on how your family can approach the topic of Christian patriotism in your homeschool program.
