Thursday evening’s Interactive Bible Story demonstrated how Sampson’s connection to God was the source of his strength. They have been a major reason for my success in my high school journey, and for that, I’ll be forever grateful. Next, I’d like to thank my older brother, Christian, for always being an inspiration and providing his insights whenever I needed help with things. <image:caption>In the beginning God created… Why? That’s a question long debated. I certainly don’t have the whole answer. What did He create? Well, 6,000 years after the beginning described in Genesis he orchestrated my beginning in a happy home in China. He had a purpose for another human. But what exactly was I supposed to be doing? Umm… I still have more questions than answers, but I had the basics; I was supposed to play, learn, and grow. One day I heard my sisters sounding out spelling words. Eager to start learning, and considering that easy enough, I piped up, “S. A. T.: oil!” I still struggle with spelling.</image:caption>

<image:caption>To be completely honest I have never been a fan of school. And it is mainly because of my learning disability. But Mom always made me stick with it, which I appreciate now. And we did have some fun, especially on the field trips. Dad took me to the local quarry and Mom took us to a sheep farm, which gave me some good memories. God helped me get through my classes and taught me to stick with it till the end. I’ll be pursuing a career in the Baltimore County Fire Department in the future. Right now I’m volunteering at Lansdowne Volunteer Fire Department Station 36 in Halethorpe Maryland. Being a volunteer will give me experience before entering the career side of the fire department.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Praise the Lord, everyone. My name is Abraham Simon. As I close this chapter of my life, I would like to express my immense gratitude to the Lord for His wisdom and guidance, which He graciously bestowed upon me. His continuous faithfulness and ever-present help are the reasons I am here today, having accomplished this very important milestone. As we are all aware, God knows the end from the beginning, which is why I am certain that He had planned for me to be placed in this God-fearing family and to be raised and nurtured in His ways.</image:caption>

<image:caption>"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" wins the prize for Christmas carols that we completely blow through without giving a lot of thought to, except for maybe, "I have no idea what that means!" The language is archaic to our 21st century ears, and the confusing placement of the comma in the first line doesn't help either.</image:caption>

<image:caption>“But when Joseph thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins. ...Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.” (Matthew 1:20-21,24-25)</image:caption>

<image:caption>The graduates also received a special message from WCFS dad and guest speaker, David Rathert, on the importance of trusting God, even with an uncertain future. “We live in a world set against God,” he observed. “Jesus said we can expect to be persecuted if we are living faithfully for him. That’s intimidating! BUT, you have the God of the universe on your side, cheering for you, working things out. He’s got your back.”</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - As I finish high school and enter a new chapter in my life, I start my next journey with Joshua 1:9 in mind: “Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Before I move on from this previous chapter, though, I must first give thanks to the Lord for seeing me through every step of the way, even when I could not see what was ahead, and for revealing to me His love, grace, gifts, and provisions daily. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for your constant help and encouragement, without which I couldn't have made it across this finish line. Along with my parents, I’d also like to thank both of my brothers for inspiring my love for music and for helping me become a better musician at every opportunity; my grandparents for praying for me and for always showing up to support me at my events; and my teachers and mentors for not only teaching me, but for also sharing great experiences and lessons with me. I pray that I will be able to encourage, teach, inspire, and point others to Christ, just as each of these people have done for me.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - As I’ve come to the end of my homeschooling years, and often find myself explaining to someone who isn’t familiar with homeschooling what it was like, I keep realizing what a unique and impactful experience it was. I’m truly grateful for my parents, who decided to live differently and make sacrifices so that my sister and I could have this quality education which provided me with a firm foundation to stand on. And I’m grateful for the close friends that God placed in our lives so that we could do this in community with them. Thank you to the people at WCFS who have impacted me, and who I know have impacted my parents as well. Your dedication, your prayers, and your time are a blessing. This past year I’ve loved Psalm 46:10. It says “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”” God’s been teaching me to trust in my knowledge of Him, rather than my knowledge of His plans. So I’m so thankful that I know and have seen throughout my life who God is and how much He loves me. Thank you.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - I first want to thank my parents; my mum, for teaching me to read, driving me to hundreds of music lessons, and helping me through my many years of school; and my dad, for working to pay for my education and said music lessons. I want to thank my mamaw and pawpaw, for praying for and supporting me, and my grandma, who taught me to knit and sew. I would also like to thank my aunt Danae for helping to pay for much of my schooling and encouraging me in further education. And I ultimately want to thank God, for giving me a homeschool family and Christian parents, and for helping me through the more difficult periods of high school. God has blessed me far beyond what I deserve. In Psalms it says, “for the Lord is good and his love endures forever.” One of my favorite passages is Psalm 23. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness, for His name’s sake.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - Hi everyone! I am excited to be a 2024 graduate with my fellow classmates from Wellspring Christian Family Schools. I have overcome many challenges and have enjoyed some academic achievements, but graduating from high school is the most valuable and important to me so far. First, my success would not have been possible without the help and blessing of God, who deserves all my praise. Second, I thank my family for their love, support, and encouragement throughout my 13-year homeschooling journey. Believe it or not, we started with WCFS when I began Kindergarten. I would also like to express gratitude to Mr. Gary Cox, Mr. Joel Fischer, Mrs. Becky Wyand, and all the staff and volunteers at WCFS for their assistance and support throughout my educational journey.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - Being here today as a high school graduate is a great honor. Getting to this point was a long and tedious process, but I cannot say I got here by my efforts alone. God was there for me throughout my whole journey and put people into my life to help me grow and move forward on the path he prepared for me. Among those people, there are a few of them I wish to thank. I would first like to thank my mother for being my teacher from kindergarten to high school and for all the sacrifices she made in doing so. She could have been able get a great job, but she decided to stay home and teach my brothers and me, and I am very grateful for that. I would like to thank my grandparents for always lending me an ear to hear my problems and give advice to help me. I would like to thank Mrs. Susie Davis for always being there. I’m not gonna lie, the reviews had me stressing as if I was taking a midterm exam, but she was always kind and generous. I would like to thank both of my brothers for giving me support and being close friends; along with humbling me daily and teaching me patience, self-control, and temperance.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - Greetings to the teachers, families, and fellow graduates of Wellspring Christian Family Schools. I come before you today in humility and gratitude as I commemorate this remarkable milestone in my academic journey. I am honored to have been a student of this school, and I dearly thank all those at WCFS who were involved in the wonderful past two years of my education. Sincerely, I must say that I am immeasurably grateful to the Lord our God for His continuous work in my life. I thank Him in every moment for His wisdom, His knowledge, and His favor. Without the Lord’s holy guidance and instruction, I would not be here today celebrating this momentous occasion.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - I cannot believe I made it and that I am standing here today. This day always seemed so far away, but it is here and I feel it has come too soon. My years of school at home are over and I am so incredibly grateful to the Lord for the people He has put in my life, everything He has taught me over the years, and the countless wonderful memories I have stored up in my heart. I made it and I am done, but I didn't do it alone. I couldn’t have done it without my parents, my wonderful family and the countless others who have encouraged me and had an influence on my life. First I want to thank my mom. Mama, I hardly know where to start. Thank you for the way you would prioritize family time and always look for times where we could learn together. You have taught me so much over the years; from teaching me how to read, to being an example of what it looks like to walk by faith. No matter how busy you were, you would always take time for me whenever I needed it; caring for me not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Congratulations to the Class of 2024!</span> - A blessed day, Wellspring staff, students, parents, and readers! My name is Naomi R. Celones, and I’ve been a Wellspring student since 2021. My tenure in Wellspring has been one of transitions. We were moving to not just a new school, but to a new country, a new home, and a new environment. As expected from a teenager, this change terrified me. But I thank God for Wellspring’s flexible learning model and accommodating staff members, for I was still able to study even during these busy periods and dark mental health days. Furthermore, Wellspring prioritizes excellence in the real world, not only fields of academics. In my years with Wellspring, I have been blessed with the opportunities to join my church’s music ministry, take two internships in a single year, and even volunteer in various outreach and mission trips.</image:title>
