Details: Time to dive into history! Get ready for an adventure today! We will explore the life of a civil war soldier and an interactive lesson on the use of flags during the war. Then we can fellowship over a picnic lunch. After lunch, for those still up for it, it’s time for some hiking. The first part is the Antietam Remembered Trail (https://www.nps.gov/anti/planyourvisit/antietam- remembered-trail.htm), only ¼ mile starting at the Visitor Center. For those who still have

energy, there are several other trails to choose from, ranging in length and difficulty. We could split up or decide on the spot which to select if we want to stay together.
